Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE JAI HANUMAN UDYOG LIMITED is a leading manufacturer committed to delivering high‑quality products while safeguarding the well‑being of its workforce and the environment. We are seeking a dedicated Health Safety Environment professional to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our safety culture across all operations. This role will partner with cross‑functional teams to embed risk‑management best practices, ensure compliance with national and international regulations, and drive sustainable initiatives that protect people and the planet. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will develop and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies that align with industry standards and local legislation. You will conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, translating findings into actionable improvement plans. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement to embed safety into product design and supply‑chain decisions. You will lead training programs, ensuring all employees understand their responsibilities and the proper use of personal protective equipment. You will monitor key performance indicators, reporting trends and opportunities to senior leadership. You will champion continuous improvement initiatives, such as zero‑incident targets and waste reduction projects, to elevate our safety and sustainability performance. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You hold a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline, with a minimum of five years of progressive HSE experience in a manufacturing environment. You possess a professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent. You have proven expertise in conducting hazard analyses, developing control measures, and managing incident investigations. You are familiar with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and relevant Indian safety regulations (e.g., Factories Act, Environmental Protection Act). You demonstrate strong analytical skills, the ability to translate data into clear recommendations, and a proactive approach to problem solving. You are an effective communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels and deliver engaging training sessions. You thrive in a virtual team environment, comfortable using collaboration tools and maintaining clear, timely communication across time zones. WHY REMOTE Our distributed workforce empowers employees to work from wherever they perform best, fostering a culture of trust and flexibility. Remote teams at JAI HANUMAN UDYOG Limited operate on an asynchronous model that prioritizes outcomes over location, allowing you to balance personal commitments with professional responsibilities. We provide the technology, support, and resources needed to collaborate seamlessly, ensuring that distance never hinders collaboration or career growth. BENEFITS Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents. Generous paid time off, including personal, sick, and holiday leave. A monthly remote work stipend to offset home‑office setup and connectivity costs. A dedicated learning budget for professional development and certifications. Access to wellness programs and employee assistance services. Opportunities for career advancement within a global, innovation‑driven organization.
