Data Center Design Execution Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Design Execution Manager to bridge the technical requirements of Anthropic's AI research and products with the external partners who bring our datacenters to life. This role sits at the intersection of design, project management, and execution, ensuring that technical intent is consistently translated from concept through construction. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Design Execution Manager, you will be responsible for driving the execution of Anthropic's technical requirements for third-party datacenter delivery partners. This includes defining the design execution framework, driving accountability for partner deliverable quality, and owning the design change management process across projects. You will also facilitate constructability review processes, drive risk identification and mitigation, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to align design solutions with technical and business objectives. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 10+ years of experience managing complex capital/infrastructure programs, including datacenters, spanning design and delivery phases. You should have experience managing design execution or technical programs in partnership with external design/construction firms, as well as working familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and cooling systems. A BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field is required, and a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license is preferred.
