Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Success Engineer to join our team in the EMEA region. As a Customer Success Engineer, you will provide deep subject matter expertise on GitLab technical and product solutions and best practices, guiding customers through the post-sales process and demonstrating the value of GitLab product capabilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Customer Success Engineer, you will engage with customers via Zoom calls and emails, providing technical guidance, architectural and best practice advice, and driving the achievement of measurable value. You will work closely with Account Executives and Renewals Managers to provide customer-facing subject matter expertise based on the customer's business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical consultancy and advisory services to customers
- Developing and collaborating on customer workshops, demos, and other enablement programs
- Maintaining specialty competency in one or more technologies related to GitLab's market focus
- Contributing to our documentation, YouTube channel, and other enablement programs
- Continuously improving professional skills through training, reading, and seeking mentorship
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience with a GitLab use case, proficiency in using DevSecOps tools or highly technical tooling, and specialization in GitLab use cases. You will also need to have technical experience in development or systems engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with several different teams at any given time.
