How we source & verify jobs
Our goal is a smaller, current inventory rather than a large archive of stale listings. The steps below describe the public-site workflow.
1. Source
Listings are collected from employer career pages, applicant-tracking systems and other supported job sources. We preserve the source/application URL so job seekers can verify the opening with the employer.
2. Remote eligibility
We normalize the location language into broad remote regions such as USA Only, Worldwide, Europe, APAC and LATAM when the source supports that classification. Employer restrictions still take precedence.
3. Freshness
Listings are checked against source information and receive a visible source-check or update timestamp where available. Withdrawn or expired roles are removed from the active inventory and their JobPosting structured data is not kept active.
4. Salary data
We show salary ranges only when a complete, plausible range is explicitly disclosed. The Salary Explorer does not invent missing pay, equity, bonus or stipend data and requires a minimum sample before showing an aggregate.
5. Search/index quality gate
Not every stored record is published as an indexable landing page. Active status, expiry, content completeness and enrichment state are part of the publication gate used for public job pages and sitemaps.
6. Corrections
If a listing appears stale, misleading or incorrectly classified, contact remoteornothing@gmail.com with the job URL and the issue.
