Technical Architect

ABOUT THE ROLE The Technical Architect position at Workato is a key role that requires an exceptional individual with experience in SAP projects. As a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, you will be responsible for leading business requirements sessions, developing architectural designs, and advising on best practices for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Technical Architect, you will participate in professional services engagements as a SAP integration SME and architect, focusing on integration and automation with SAP ecosystem (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SaaS applications) as well as migrations from other platforms to Workato. You will also be responsible for customized customer onboarding, statements of work, and other customer-facing activities. Additionally, you will contribute to our global SAP practice by creating or enhancing content such as Workato Community content, reference demos, and presentations. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating in professional services engagements as a SAP integration SME and architect - Working on customized customer onboarding, statements of work, and other customer-facing activities - Being a Workato evangelist and discovering how Workato can effectively help companies with their business automation needs - Becoming the trusted technical advisor to customers and partners from an overall solution, architecture, and implementation perspective - Contributing to our global SAP practice by creating or enhancing content - Leading business requirements sessions - Developing architectural designs for customer integrations and automations - Conducting recipe reviews - Advising on unit, integration, and user acceptance testing best practices - Conducting production readiness assessments - Advising on production deployment procedures - Conducting post-live deployment health checks and guidance on recipe and process optimizations - Providing thorough knowledge transfer to customer and partner teams - Applying and advising on frameworks, such as Workato’s GEARS and Workato’s Embedded Product Guide - Being embedded in customers’ organizations and rapidly understanding and absorbing their current business process and levers WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 5+ years of technology transformation consulting, including implementation and integration experience with SAP - Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SaaS applications - Strong technical skills and knowledge of Workato’s platform - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically - Experience with content creation, such as writing, designing, and presenting WHY REMOTE Workato offers a flexible, trust-oriented culture that empowers everyone to take full ownership of their roles.
