WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Staff Software Engineer, Developer Productivity, you'll drive engineering innovation across the entire company, stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, and spearhead research initiatives to explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies. You'll guide the approach and execution of a particular team or group of teams, collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, and conduct thorough architectural reviews to help guide and shape Webflow's technology stack. You'll also be a model for engineering innovation, mentor and coach other engineers, and foster a culture of continuous learning. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To thrive in this role, you'll need a BS / BA college degree or relevant experience, and proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, with hands-on experience with modern web technology such as React, Node.js, Tailwind.css, and frameworks such as Next.js and Remix. You'll also need a solid grasp of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, extensive experience designing APIs, and a deep understanding of monorepo management. You'll be working from anywhere in the United States, BC & ON, Canada, and will be part of a global team that values trust, transparency, and creativity. BENEFITS This role comes with a competitive cash compensation package, tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. The base pay range for this role is $212,500 - $255,000 in the United States, with a bonus program that targets a percentage of base salary and varies by career level.
