Staff Data Scientist, AI/ML

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Staff Data Scientist, AI/ML to join our team at Doximity. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Staff Data Scientist, AI/ML, you will be responsible for leveraging Doximity's extensive datasets to optimize, tune, and evaluate AI products for medical professionals on our platform. You will play a key role in creating both product and client-facing analytics, inform data team strategy by working with product leaders and managers, and actively participate in execution and planning of organizational data team strategy. You will also collaborate with a team of product managers, analysts, and other developers to define and lead data projects from data ingestion to analysis to recommendations. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need at least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or other related roles working with complex, high-volume datasets. You will also need advanced knowledge of statistical concepts, particularly exploratory data analysis, experimental design, and probability theory. Additionally, you will need a deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques, including deep learning architectures, reinforcement learning, and large language model (LLM) fine-tuning methods. You will also need advanced SQL proficiency, advanced Python skills, and hands-on experience with distributed data processing tools and concepts for scalable analysis and model training.
