WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Staff Backend Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the core architecture of our Grafana App Platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to refactor and standardize our systems, ensuring they're scalable, reliable, and secure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Coding new features and enhancing the operational experience of our systems - Authoring and contributing to design documents - Participating in shaping the roadmap and mentoring junior team members - Collaborating with different teams across the organization to drive innovation and growth - Owning the customer experience by participating in on-call rotations WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you'll need strong coding skills and operational experience, with a proven track record of working on SaaS platforms at scale. You'll have excellent communication skills, be willing to work across teams, and prioritize progress over perfection. Familiarity with Golang is a plus, but not required – we're happy to train the right candidate.
