Staff Backend Engineer - Grafana App Platform | Ireland | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a highly experienced Staff Backend Engineer to join our team at Grafana Labs. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Cloud / Grafana-as-a-service business. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the core architecture of our Grafana App Platform. This includes building a fully multi-tenant and scalable platform for our opinionated Cloud apps, as well as integrating open-source and proprietary apps into our dashboards, alerts, incidents, and telemetry. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements that meet the needs of our customers. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on SaaS platforms at scale. You should have experience with cloud-based architectures, scalability, and high availability. Additionally, you should be proficient in programming languages such as Go, Java, or Python, and have a good understanding of database systems and data modeling. BENEFITS We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of EUR 117,600 - EUR 141,120, depending on level, experience, and skillset.
