Staff Backend Engineer - Grafana App Platform | Germany | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE Grafana Labs is seeking a highly skilled Staff Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and growth of our Grafana App Platform. As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our platform and ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance. You will work on a fully multi-tenant and scalable architecture, refactoring and standardizing Grafana to make it a solid platform for our opinionated Cloud apps. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for coding new features, enhancing the operational experience of the systems you develop, and iteratively improving them based on production insights. You will author, contribute to, and review design documents, take an active role in shaping the roadmap, mentor and support other team members, and collaborate with different teams across the organization. You will also own the experience of our customers by participating in on-call rotations. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need strong coding skills and operational experience, with a background in SaaS platforms and distributed systems. You will have excellent communication skills, be willing to work across teams, and be pragmatic in your approach. You will also be familiar with Golang or be excited to learn the language.
