Staff AI Product Analyst, Product Management | USA, EST | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Staff AI Product Analyst to join our growing Product Analytics team at Grafana Labs. As a strategic partner to our AI organization, you'll support the teams building Grafana Assistant, Investigations, and AI observability solutions, including Sigil. Your primary focus will be on shaping how the AI team measures success by defining KPIs, improving measurement practices, guiding experiment design and evaluation, and translating data into recommendations that influence product decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Staff AI Product Analyst, you'll work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data partners to establish top-level KPIs, dashboards, and product roadmap planning. You'll define how success is measured for AI-powered product experiences, including adoption, engagement, quality, retention, and user outcomes. You'll guide the instrumentation of product data in collaboration with our Product Design, Product Management, and Engineering teams to enable reliable analysis of AI features and workflows. Additionally, you'll design, evaluate, and interpret experiments to assess the impact of new AI capabilities and inform product decisions. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you'll need experience partnering across product and engineering organizations, and familiarity with typical product KPIs and frameworks. You'll have experience defining and tracking success metrics for complex product areas, ideally including AI-powered features or workflows. You'll be proficient in SQL, data visualization, and dbt modeling, and have experience using AI-assisted coding tools. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll need to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences and maintain cross-team and cross-functional relationships.
