Software Engineer - Platform Productivity | United Kingdom | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Platform Productivity squad at Grafana Labs. As a critical member of our team, you will play a key role in helping our internal engineers release their software onto our infrastructure, in secure and measurable ways. You will lead automation of the release processes and help our internal engineering teams get on board with them using 'golden path' techniques, but also helping edge cases and making sure that teams can get the most out of our tools. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer on our Platform Productivity squad, your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining our Internal Engineering Platform (IEP) - Managing and developing our CI/CD platform - Automating build, release, and deployment processes - Creating and managing application configuration management tooling - Developing and maintaining 'up to date' software automation - Managing artefact management - Collaborating with diverse internal teams to support implementation of their requirements - Participating in an on-call rotation to support Platform tooling You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the design, comparison, and choice of solutions for various aspects of our platform, including development and maintenance of our IEP, CI/CD platform management, and build, release, and deployment automation. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Strong software engineering skills and experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, and security - Experience with automation of release processes and CI/CD platforms - Knowledge of application configuration management tooling and 'up to date' software automation - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal teams - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues - Experience with on-call rotations and incident management WHY REMOTE We are a 100% remote company with a global team of over 1,600 members across 40+ countries.
