Software Engineer - Platform Productivity | Ireland | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE Grafana Labs is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer - Platform Productivity to join our 100% remote team. As a key member of our Platform department, you will play a critical role in delivering the Internal Engineering Platform, which provides application engineers with the tools, systems, and Kubernetes clusters they need to build, deploy, and run their workloads. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer - Platform Productivity, you will be part of the Platform Productivity squad, responsible for helping internal engineers release their software onto our infrastructure in secure and measurable ways. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Leading automation of release processes, from CI/CD to bootstrapping - Helping internal engineering teams get on board with our tools using 'golden path' techniques - Assisting with edge cases and ensuring teams can get the most out of our tools - Maintaining, improving, and extending our existing Internal Engineering Platform (IEP) - Designing, comparing, and choosing appropriate solutions for various platform management and development tasks - Working with diverse internal teams to support implementation of their requirements - Participating in an on-call rotation to support Platform tooling WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Strong programming skills, preferably in languages such as Go, Python, or Java - Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and containerization - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global team - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Experience with AI coding assistants and/or machine learning is a plus WHY REMOTE As a remote-first company, we value flexibility and work-life balance.
