ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a talented Software Engineer, iOS to join our Mobile Product team at Figma. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and building new features for the Figma iOS app. You will work closely with your engineering peers, cross-functional partners, and product teams to deliver delightful mobile experiences to Figma's users. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer, iOS, your primary responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with Product Managers, designers, and other engineers to bring Figma's most popular features to iPhone and iPad - Utilizing Apple technologies such as Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit - Participating in user research and testing to better understand our customers - Sharing responsibility for testing, releasing, and maintaining our mobile apps - Communicating and documenting architectural designs and requirements - Providing thoughtful feedback to others on the team - Helping interview and recruit more talented engineers to Figma WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 4+ years of professional experience building iOS applications - Extensive understanding of mobile product development practices - Proactive communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative environment with iOS, Android, and web engineers - Demonstrated ability to write maintainable, performant code that delivers real user value - Strong product sense and desire to deeply understand users - Enthusiasm for mentoring other engineers and helping shape engineering culture WHY REMOTE This is a full-time role that can be held remotely in the United States.
