Software Engineer II, Security Engineering (Auth0)

ABOUT THE ROLE Okta is a leading identity and access management company that secures the potential of AI by building trusted infrastructure for organizations to safely embrace this new era. We're looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Auth0 Security Engineering organization and help build and maintain security guardrails for our multi-cloud environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer II on our Auth0 Security Engineering team, you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining organization-wide cloud security controls, identity and access management (IAM) policies, infrastructure and network security standards, and system design to validate the security posture of our platform. You'll also partner with teammates across the organization to share knowledge and deepen your security expertise. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you'll need 3+ years of experience in software engineering or information security, with hands-on exposure to cloud-native environments, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), and cloud security concepts. You'll also need experience building or maintaining automated controls and infrastructure-as-code, ideally within Terraform workflows. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
