Software Engineer II, Data Automation

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Software Engineer II, Data Automation at Klaviyo, you will be part of a dynamic team that builds tooling to help our Data Platform engineers provision and test infrastructure to power core Klaviyo functionality and generate data-driven insights. You will work with a cross-functional team to design systems, create infrastructure, write high-quality code, and operate large-scale systems in a production environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design, build, and maintain systems that help Klaviyo operate its mission-critical analytics infrastructure - Work with a cross-functional team to design systems, create infrastructure, write high-quality code, and operate large-scale systems in a production environment - Collaborate with engineers to provision and test infrastructure to power core Klaviyo functionality and generate data-driven insights - Develop and maintain tooling to support data automation and infrastructure management WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline - Proficient in using at least one modern programming language - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to learn continuously and adapt to a high-growth environment - Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, and infrastructure as code is a plus - Familiarity with Linux operating systems and experience with OLTP and OLAP databases is also a plus WHY REMOTE As a remote team member, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
