Software Engineer, Customer Studio Backend

As a product-minded backend engineer, you will be part of the Customer Studio team, which provides a purpose-built no-code suite of features that enables anyone to activate data directly from their warehouse. The team blends product and customer-first thinking with challenges at high data scale, helping us reimagine marketing in an AI-native world. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a senior product-minded backend engineer, you will be responsible for tackling complex problems in data warehouse performance, analytics and experimentation, real-time audience syncing, and generative AI. You will design and implement scalable, maintainable, and reliable backend systems, and think holistically about architecture. You will also work closely with the customer and product teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in backend and distributed systems, as well as experience with designing and implementing scalable and maintainable systems. You will also need to have strong customer and product thinking skills, and be able to write and engage with product specs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable diving deep into technical problems and thinking holistically about architecture. BENEFITS The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $400,000 USD per year, which is location-independent in accordance with our remote-first policy. We also offer meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options, and offer early exercise and a 10 year post-termination exercise window.
