Software Engineer, Control Plane

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a product-minded backend engineer to join our Control Plane team at Hightouch. As a leader in the Agentic Marketing Platform space, powered by the industry-leading Composable CDP, we help marketing teams build and ship end-to-end campaigns themselves. Our Control Plane team focuses on building user-friendly but powerful tools and products for enterprises to efficiently onboard onto Hightouch and manage and scale their Hightouch deployments. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a backend engineer, you will work on complex problems that require a deep understanding of backend, distributed systems, and asynchronous workflows. You will think holistically about architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability. Some of the problems you will tackle include: - Roles, Permissions, and Access Control: You will work on adapting and extending our access control capabilities to support the growth of our product lines. - Change Management: You will design tools for admins to better manage changes to their Customer Studio schema, audiences, and other syncs and data pipelines. - Data Warehouse Performance and Costs: You will help admins understand and optimize warehouse performance and costs as a result of Hightouch activity. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to be a talented, intellectually curious, and motivated individual with strong customer and product thinking. You will be comfortable writing and engaging with product specs. A senior role, we focus on impact and potential for growth more than years of experience. WHY REMOTE Hightouch is a remote-first company, and this role is location independent. We offer a salary range of $180,000 - $400,000 USD per year, which is adjusted for location. We also offer meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options, and offer early exercise and a 10 year post-termination exercise window.
