Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE Cato Networks is seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will help drive the next phase of Cato's growth by enabling new use cases, supporting expanding customer needs, and contributing to evolving growth models while maintaining the reliability and scalability of Cato's cloud-native architecture. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer at Cato Networks, you will design and build scalable services that collect and analyze data from multiple networks, expose data through web applications, APIs, and integrations with back-office systems. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including product management, research, and Information Systems group teams. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing enterprise platform solutions, researching new technologies and adapting them for use within the company's product, and collaborating with multiple development teams. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 5+ years of backend development experience, with a strong proficiency in languages such as Java, Go, and Play framework. You should also have excellent knowledge of NoSQL DBs and relational DBs, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and more.
