SMB Solutions Engineer, Client Management

ABOUT THE ROLE The SMB Solutions Engineer, Client Management role at Asana is a critical position that plays a key part in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. As a trusted advisor, you will bridge the gap between the voice of business and the voice of the customer by leveraging Asana's platform expertise. This role is a builder position where you will configure demos and show agency leaders how their teams can leverage AI Teammates to optimize workflows. Your work will directly shape the product and define Asana's future playbook. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a SMB Solutions Engineer, Client Management, you will own the technical side of the ACM sales cycle, including demos, workflow configuration, and solution design for agency and professional services buyers. You will build vertical-specific demo environments for primary verticals and translate customer pain into specific product configurations. Your job will involve driving AI Teammate activation post-close, partnering with AEs on multi-stakeholder deals, and gathering customer feedback to feed directly to the product team. You will also build scaled assets that enable the broader team to carry the technical story without SE support on every deal. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in Solutions, Consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles. You will have a deep understanding of AI LLMs and GPTs, and the ability to articulate their business applications. Familiarity with work management tools and a willingness to learn and leverage emerging technologies to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making are also essential.
