ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure at Lyft, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's infrastructure and data platform teams. This position requires a unique blend of program delivery and product sense, where you will own the roadmap for your area, set priorities, and act as the voice of the customer back into how we build. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for running cross-functional programs across infrastructure and data platform teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Running infrastructure programs end to end, from kickoff through delivery - Owning the roadmap for your platform area, shaping the strategy, sequencing the work, and making prioritization calls - Driving data platform migration and modernization work, coordinating across engineering, data, and platform teams to keep dependencies and timelines under control - Being the voice of the customer, partnering with engineering teams across Lyft, surfacing their pain points, and feeding that back into priorities and roadmaps - Defining success metrics and adoption goals, gathering and documenting customer requirements, and making sure what ships actually solves the problem - Building feedback loops with customer teams and turning what you hear into concrete improvements - Partnering with engineering and infrastructure leads to build plans, call out risks early, and keep stakeholders aligned - Owning program health, tracking milestones, surfacing blockers before they slip, and keeping decision-makers in the loop - Using your technical background in distributed systems and data infrastructure to ask sharp questions and build plans the team believes in - Sharing in the team's release oncall rotation WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or a TPM/PM hybrid role - A background in software, data, or systems engineering, enough to go deep with engineers - Experience owning a roadmap, setting strategy, prioritizing across competing demands, and defining what success looks like - Experience driving data platform or infrastructure migrations, data lakes, pipelines, warehouses, or compute platforms - Hands-on familiarity with Databricks, Hex, or similar data platform and BI tooling is a strong plus - A strong track record leading cross-functional programs with real dependencies and tight timelines, autonomously and with only high-level direction - Experience owning customer relationships across engineering teams, gathering requirements, and translating their needs into roadmaps and technical specs - Comfortable defining and tracking success metrics and adoption - Clear communication skills across the stack, from engineer to VP WHY REMOTE This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be in the office 3 days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
