Senior Solutions Engineer | West Coast | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Enterprise Solutions Engineering team at Grafana Labs. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our company by educating potential and existing customers on the technical and product capabilities of our open observability cloud. You will work closely with our Sales team to articulate the value proposition of Grafana Labs and help qualify and close high-velocity opportunities. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Partnering with our Sales team to educate customers on the technical and product capabilities of Grafana Labs - Delivering product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers - Owning the technical engagement with customers and helping to close high-velocity opportunities - Proactively communicating with customers and internal teams to provide a feedback loop on our products and the competitive landscape - Driving product conversations based on need and problems learned during customer interactions - Contributing to the creation of public and internal enablement material, such as documentation, blog posts, and videos WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space - Strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and worldwide customers - First-class technical skills and a desire to grow technically - Self-motivation, initiative, creativity, and a willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment - Experience working in a remote-first company and collaborating with international teams WHY REMOTE As a remote-first company, we value flexibility and autonomy.
