ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Enterprise Solutions Engineering team at Grafana Labs. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our company by educating potential and existing customers on the technical and product expertise of our fully managed observability platform, Grafana Cloud. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth technology startup in a remote-first environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Partnering with our Sales team to articulate the overall Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers - Owning the technical engagement with customers and helping to close high-velocity opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility - Delivering product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers - Proactively communicating with customers and internal teams to provide a feedback loop on our products and the competitive landscape - Driving product conversations based on need and problems learned during customer interactions - Collaborating with the team to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public and internal enablement material WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space - Strong technical mindset and a desire to grow technically - First-class written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers - Ability to skillfully articulate our value proposition and the technical advantages of our products - Self-motivation, initiative, creativity, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment WHY REMOTE As a remote-first company, we are committed to providing a flexible and collaborative work environment that allows our team members to thrive from anywhere in the world.
