Senior Solutions Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE LaunchDarkly is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor to our largest and most important Enterprise prospects and customers. As a critical part of the Enterprise sales strategy, this role will partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to craft compelling technical value propositions and drive technical discovery, architecture design, and proof of concept implementation throughout the pre-sales lifecycle. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact demonstrations, workshops, and proposals tailored to C-level and technical stakeholders. You will cultivate trust and credibility with customers, identifying technical champions and positioning as a strategic advisor. Additionally, you will liaise between customers and internal Product and Engineering teams to relay feedback and influence product roadmap. You will also lead cross-regional technical initiatives, enhance SE tools, processes, and frameworks for global scalability, and mentor junior team members. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will require 8+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or systems architecture customer-facing role. You will need extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, expertise in at least one (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and demonstrated excellence in leading and documenting a proof of concept and building technical and deal champions. You will also need excellent communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated history of presenting thought leadership to the broader industry.
