Senior Software QA Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to join our global team at CoverGo, a leading no-code insurance platform for health, life, and P&C insurance. As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Software QA Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: - Performing manual testing on new technologies to ensure their quality and functionality - Identifying and resolving simple quality process issues with minimal supervision - Writing test scenarios and running them during the testing process - Identifying bugs and reporting them to the development team with sufficient detail for further investigation - Performing API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate request/response behavior - Reporting status to cross-functional teams and executing on defined tasks according to guidelines - Providing support to the team and contributing to solving problems with defined solutions - Mastering your craft and leveraging it for greater impact WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - At least 4 years of experience in using manual testing tools and procedures in an agile environment - Hands-on experience in manual API testing, including validating endpoints, status codes, and response payloads - A deep understanding of QA theory and software development life cycle - Good communication skills in English - The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing circumstances - A willingness to continuously learn and improve your skills in testing and best-practices WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world, while being part of a global and diverse team.
