Senior Software Engineer - Grafana Cloud Observability Provider | Sweden | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Observability team at Grafana Labs. As a key member of our remote-first and global team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling our Cloud Observability product suite. This includes providing customers with the ability to collect, visualize, analyze, and understand metrics and logs data from hundreds of cloud provider services. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Designing and implementing high-quality, scalable integrations for various infrastructure components, databases, and applications - Creating middleware components, SDKs, and libraries that simplify development and maintenance of observability solutions - Representing Grafana Labs in open source forums, working groups, and events when necessary - Working with product teams to develop features that align with wider product strategy and customer needs - Contributing to strategic discussions and future development of observability solutions - Collaborating with other departments, including Sales, Product, and Support teams, to deliver a holistic product experience - Participating in follow-the-sun on-call rotations and taking ownership of the services you're running WHAT YOU'LL NEED - A deep understanding of software engineering principles and practices - Experience with designing and implementing scalable integrations for various infrastructure components, databases, and applications - Strong knowledge of cloud provider services and observability solutions - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to estimate, plan, coordinate, and deliver large tasks spanning multiple systems - Experience with open source software development and contributions WHY REMOTE As a remote-first company, we value flexibility and autonomy.
