Senior Software Engineer - Grafana Cloud Observability Provider | UK | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Observability department at Grafana Labs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling our Cloud Observability product suite, providing customers with the ability to collect, visualize, analyze, and understand metrics and logs data from hundreds of cloud provider services. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Designing and implementing high-quality, scalable integrations for various infrastructure components, databases, and applications - Creating middleware components, SDKs, and libraries that simplify development and maintenance of observability solutions - Representing Grafana Labs in open source forums, working groups, and events when necessary - Working with product teams to develop features that align with wider product strategy and customer needs - Supporting the technical direction and vision of the team, contributing to strategic discussions and future development of observability solutions - Collaborating with other departments, including Sales, Product, and Support teams, to deliver a holistic product experience - Participating in follow-the-sun on-call rotations and taking ownership of the services you're running WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - A strong passion for observability and software engineering expertise - Experience working with Kubernetes monitoring and Cloud Provider observability solutions - Excellent design and implementation skills, with a focus on scalability and high-quality code - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Experience contributing to open source projects and communities WHY REMOTE Grafana Labs is a 100% remote company, with a global team of over 1,600 members across 40+ countries.
