Senior Software Engineer, Atlas API Experience

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Atlas API Experience (APIx) team at MongoDB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for improving and extending our API platform and downstream tooling, such as the Atlas CLI. Our mission is to help Atlas customers automate their workloads easily through APIs and support internal teams contributing to the API. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Software Engineer, you will propose, design, implement, and support product features for the MongoDB Atlas API Platform and MongoDB Atlas DevTools. Your responsibilities will include building tooling that enables MongoDB users and developers to succeed, designing and developing software integration components utilizing MongoDB's technology, mentoring and providing technical guidance to other engineers, leading sophisticated projects end to end, and investigating and resolving complex problems experienced by our customers. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a track record of independently delivering complex projects and leading technical decisions. You should be inspired by building systems that manage infrastructure at scale, approachable, curious, and intellectually honest. You will collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple teams, locally and remotely, to drive projects to completion. Proficiency in at least one of Java, Go, Python, or Javascript/Typescript is required, as well as experience building developer tooling, APIs, and/or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) integrations.
