Senior Security Engineer, Incident Response ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer, Incident Response to join our team at Twilio. As a leader in the field of security, you'll play a key role in shaping our incident response strategy and ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Security Engineer, Incident Response, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our incident response processes and procedures. This includes developing and maintaining playbooks, conducting tabletop exercises, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless incident response. You'll also work closely with our security operations team to identify and respond to security incidents, and provide technical guidance and support to our security analysts. Additionally, you'll contribute to the development of our security strategy and provide input on security-related projects and initiatives. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong background in security, with a focus on incident response and threat hunting. You should have a deep understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards, as well as experience with security tools and technologies. You'll also need excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, and a relevant certification (e.g. CISSP, CEH) is preferred.
