Senior Partner Solutions Architect

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Partner Solutions Architect to join our Pre-Sales organization at MongoDB. As a leader in the modern data platform market, we are transforming industries and empowering developers to build innovative applications. This role will play a critical part in guiding our customers and partners to design and build reliable, scalable systems using our data platform. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Partner Solutions Architect, you will work closely with our advisory consulting partners to create reference architectures, patterns, and technical blueprints for making the best use of MongoDB. You will confidently articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions and bridge this to technical value. Your responsibilities will include: - Partnering with our account teams to ensure success in accounts ranging from small startups to large enterprises - Aligning with sales teams to drive business forward through technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentation, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria - Translating technical concepts and patterns into business benefits for management and executives - Acting as a liaison, gathering feedback from the field to relay back to the Product Management team - Participating in industry-known trade-shows and account-based marketing events to drive demand - Demonstrating resilience and sound judgment in dealing with business challenges - Proactively seeking opportunities to support and mentor other pre-sales team members and share best practices - Building and maintaining effective relationships with technical partners, gaining their trust, influencing their decisions, and reinforcing their understanding of how MongoDB adds value to the broader ecosystem and needs of clients WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will require: - 5+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software and technical aptitude - Working knowledge and ability to code with one or more modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#) - Working knowledge of UI development with demonstrable skills in semantic HTML, modern CSS, and TypeScript, integrated with frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, React.js, Angular.js) - Proficient in deploying applications to the Cloud with cloud best practices (DevOps) and one cloud provider (preferably AWS) - Experience with benchmarking, profiling, and performance tuning of Database systems - 3+ years of software development experience - Excellent presentation and communication skills - A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and will be part of a global team that values collaboration, innovation, and customer success.
