Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering

ABOUT THE ROLE Fivetran + dbt Labs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering to lead a North East US Solutions Engineering team. This leadership role will involve growing and leading a team of Solutions Engineers, driving revenue growth and customer success, and building and maintaining strong customer relationships. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Solutions Engineers. You will promote a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture within the team and partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets through value-based selling. You will also guide our GTM strategy in the region by providing insight on sales strategy, product gaps, and advocating for your team's needs. Additionally, you will play an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates to ensure that we maintain a high talent bar. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 7+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity, including 3+ years of direct frontline management experience. You will also need experience across data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or data science. A proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in fast-paced environments is also required. You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
