WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Machine Learning Manager, Borrowing, you'll lead a high-performing team of machine learning scientists and define the borrowing product's machine learning roadmap. Your key responsibilities will include: - Improving the performance of our borrowing products through data-driven decisioning - Unlocking new data sources and developing faster model development capabilities - Building underwriting capabilities that scale into new markets, including Europe - Shaping Monzo's approach to advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence - Collaborating with leaders across Credit Strategy, Product, Engineering, Model Validation, Data, and Platform to drive business performance and long-term architecture WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you'll need: - Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and decisioning systems - Deep experience in credit risk and lending, including building, deploying, and iterating credit models in production - Experience pushing the innovation frontiers of the credit industry - Proven leadership and development skills, with experience leading and developing senior machine learning scientists - Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with a track record of turning strategy into practical delivery in a regulated environment WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, collaborating with a global team of experts.
