Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE Typeform is a leading provider of interactive forms, surveys, and data collection experiences. We help businesses create more engaging ways to collect, manage, and understand data. As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will bridge the gap between our enterprise customers and our product, building prototypes for strategic opportunities that accelerate sales cycles and inform product development. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be responsible for building and delivering prototypes for strategic enterprise opportunities, engaging directly with enterprise customers to understand their requirements, workflows, and technical environments, and supporting enterprise deals as the technical bridge between customer needs and product capabilities. You will also translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable product insights, collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to feed field learnings into the product roadmap, and validate customer use cases for new product initiatives through hands-on prototyping and iteration. Additionally, you will identify reusable patterns across customer engagements and drive their productization, build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, and customer organizations, and work on ongoing field engineering initiatives such as prototype delivery, new product launch support, productization of successful prototype concepts, and establishing scalable Forward Deployed Engineering practices. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in building prototypes and delivering solutions in the field. You should be able to engage directly with enterprise customers, understand their requirements, and translate them into clear technical specifications and actionable product insights. You will also need to be able to collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to feed field learnings into the product roadmap and validate customer use cases for new product initiatives. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are also essential, as you will be working with key stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, and customer organizations.
