Senior Field Engineer | Netherlands | Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Field Engineer will play a crucial role in the Field Engineering team at Grafana Labs, working closely with the Presales Solution Engineering team, Product, and Marketing to ensure the success of our Solution Engineering team. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to design, develop, and deliver technical presentations, training materials, and product demonstrations. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Field Engineer, you will be responsible for anticipating the needs of the Solutions Engineering Team, designing and developing technical presentations and white papers, creating and delivering training materials, product demonstrations, and product workshops to various audiences. You will also partner with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to support customer engagements and become a subject matter expert on one or more of our products. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background, with at least 5 years of experience in a technical role such as SRE, Developer, Architect, or Presales Solution Architect. You should have a deep understanding of at least two to three technologies in the Observability space, such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo, Elastic, Splunk, and Datadog. Experience planning and executing a corporate Observability strategy, as well as comfort with modern programming languages, Linux, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is also required.
