Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Product Analytics team at Calendly. As a key member of our analytics team, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering the Calendly team with strategic insights into user acquisition, conversion, retention, and overall business performance. You'll be responsible for driving experimentation, optimizing go-to-market levers, analyzing product feature behaviors, and aligning these insights with Calendly's broader growth objectives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll utilize your deep product expertise and advanced analytics skills to drive decision-making across web and mobile product experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth analyses to measure the effectiveness of features and identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end mobile experience across iOS and Android
- Designing and analyzing A/B tests to validate hypotheses and optimize acquisition, activation, and retention strategies
- Owning the definition of success for product initiatives, ensuring features deliver meaningful and measurable user and business value
- Ensuring analytics outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with Calendly's business goals
- Representing growth levers and business objectives in cross-functional planning and strategy discussions
- Applying statistical methods to uncover insights related to product usage, such as conversion funnel analysis, cohort retention, lifecycle segmentation, LTV modeling, and churn prediction
- Building and maintaining dashboards that surface key growth trends and enable stakeholders to self-serve insights effectively
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive event tracking plans to ensure accurate measurement of user behavior, product adoption, and feature performance
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Expertise in A/B testing statistics and experimentation end-to-end design
- Proficient in Python programming for developing advanced analytics solutions and automation scripts
- Familiarity with mobile product metrics, event instrumentation, and mobile experimentation frameworks is a strong plus
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data analysis/visualization tools like Hex
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, translating data insights into actionable growth strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to translate detailed data into clear, actionable recommendations, bridging technical and business perspectives
- Inquisitive mindset for uncovering insights and opportunities through data, driving continuous improvement

BENEFITS
Calendly offers a competitive salary range of $181,503 - $213,534 USD (Tier 1), $166,378 - $195,739 USD (Tier 2), and $151,253 - $177,945 USD (Tier 3), depending on experience. Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America is required, as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time.
