Senior Customer Resident Architect

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer Resident Architect to join our team at Fivetran, a leading provider of data infrastructure solutions. In this role, you will drive critical customer outcomes by delivering high-impact technical guidance to strategic accounts. You will be part of a high-visibility initiative that supports pre-sales, accelerates adoption, enables key migrations, and mitigates churn risks. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Customer Resident Architect, you will be responsible for accelerating customer success across the lifecycle by providing technical expertise to prospects, launching and onboarding new customers, executing proactive adoption plays, and leading reactive adoption initiatives to de-risk churn or contraction. You will also deliver technical excellence by advising on architecture, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and best practices in dbt Cloud environments, building solution MVPs, and guiding long-term technical strategies tailored to customer needs. You will collaborate across teams, partnering closely with Customer Solutions Architects (CSAs), Sales, Solutions Architects, Training, and Support to provide feedback to Product and Engineering to improve customer experience and prioritize technical needs. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background in data infrastructure, with expertise in dbt Cloud and related technologies. You should have experience in providing technical guidance to customers, driving customer adoption, and collaborating across teams. A strong understanding of customer success strategies and a proven track record of delivering high-impact results are also essential.
