As a Security Guard III at The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort in the Bahamas, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the resort’s pristine environment and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, worry‑free stay. This position requires a vigilant, proactive presence across the resort’s expansive grounds, from the beachfront to the private villas, and a deep commitment to upholding the brand’s impeccable standards of service and security. You will collaborate closely with the security team, concierge, and operations staff to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and residents. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Patrol and inspect all resort areas, identifying and mitigating risks related to theft, fire, vandalism, or other illegal activities. - Manage access control at key checkpoints, performing bag checks, verifying employee time‑clock swipes, and ensuring contractors and vendors present proper identification. - Monitor public spaces and guest floors, promptly removing any undesirable persons or trespassers while maintaining a courteous demeanor. - Provide escort services for employees, guests, and valuable assets, including cash and high‑value items. - Secure special events and VIP areas, coordinating with event staff to enforce tailored security protocols. - Prepare detailed incident reports and, when required, testify in court or other legal proceedings. - Support the Security Supervisor in coaching, briefing, and assigning guards, stepping into supervisory duties as needed. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Minimum of three years’ experience in a hospitality or resort security environment, preferably at a luxury property. - Valid security guard license and a clean criminal record. - Proficiency in incident reporting, surveillance systems, and access‑control technology. - Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate calmly and professionally with guests,
