Security Awareness Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a highly skilled Security Awareness Analyst to join our People Centred Security Squad at Monzo. As a Security Awareness Analyst, you'll play a key role in building security processes that allow the bank to move at pace while protecting our customers. You'll work closely with a full-time Security Awareness Analyst and the Security Awareness Manager, collaborating with teams from across Security and Monzo. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Security Awareness Analyst, you'll be responsible for creating engaging security awareness content across various channels, including Slack, email, presentations, training, and events. You'll develop micro-learning, behavioural nudges, and awareness campaigns that encourage secure habits across Monzo. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing the delivery of the security awareness programme, including campaigns, content, documentation, and reporting. You'll also translate complex security topics into clear, practical guidance that helps Monzonauts make confident decisions. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you'll need experience in security awareness, internal communications, or influencing behaviour change. You'll have excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging guidance. You'll be highly organised, able to manage priorities independently and deliver high-quality work. A good understanding of common security risks, including phishing, social engineering, password security, and data handling, is also essential. WHY REMOTE This role can be based in our London or Cardiff office, but we're open to distributed working within the UK, with ad hoc meetings in London.
