Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Partner Solutions Architect (GSI) - AMER West to join our technical solutions team at Datadog. As a key member of our Channels & Alliances business segment, you will work closely with our Director of Partner Solutions Architects to support technical initiatives and activities for our partners. This role requires a Datadog expert who can collaborate with both Datadog and Partner resources to drive success and ensure the successful onboarding, training, and enablement of partner technical resources.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Partner Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources
- Participating in periodic joint business planning and review sessions to ensure direct alignment between Datadog and Partner technical teams
- Collaborating internally to support Partner technical initiatives such as end-customer demonstrations and proofs of value, partner team enablement workshops, assessment, advice, and coaching on lead practices
- Advocating on behalf of Partners' technical concerns with Datadog internal teams and personnel, helping to bring those concerns to resolution
- Analyzing and understanding Partner service offerings on a regular basis and providing recommendations to enhance the value of those services through greater or improved adoption of Datadog features and capabilities
- Collaborating with Datadog's product management, engineering, and technical services teams to help identify and prioritize new features and capabilities
- Continuously helping curate and evolve lead/best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A solid technical grounding with hands-on experience of IT Development and/or Operations
- A demonstrable track-record and never-ending passion for learning, with 10-15 years of experience in a customer or partner-facing technical role
- Self-starter, tech-savvy professional with solid business acumen, ability to articulate Datadog value from server room to boardroom
- Confident presentation skills
- Desired hands-on experience in two or more of the following areas: Observability, Public Cloud, Containerization, Dev/Scripting, Config Mgmt, CI / CD
- Bonus points for previous experience working in a technical role for or supporting channel partners, using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools, and root-cause-analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging

The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role at Datadog is $143,000 - $209,
