ABOUT THE ROLE
The Observability Architect at Grafana Labs is a strategic leadership role for deeply technical experts who thrive at the intersection of systems thinking, architecture design, and customer impact. As a technical owner of long-term customer success, you will be responsible for architecting and guiding the implementation of complex observability solutions across a wide range of modern infrastructure and application environments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Observability Architect, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers, designing their observability maturity journey and providing expert-level troubleshooting and guidance to drive adoption. You will conduct regular technical reviews and health checks to ensure client success, advise clients on best practices and strategies for leveraging our technology to achieve their business goals, and collaborate with clients to develop and execute technical roadmaps. You will also identify opportunities for clients to optimize their cost, expand their use of our solutions, and drive adoption of new products and features.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need to be located on the East Coast and have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math or a related field (or equivalent experience). You will also need to have 5+ years of experience in a technical support, technical account management, consulting, SE or Professional Services role within the technology industry, with a strong understanding of observability solutions and experience deploying and operating Kubernetes. Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki are a plus.
