Network Automation Engineer

WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Network Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks to enable continuous integration and validation of our fast-evolving product. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and executing manual and automated performance tests for core network infrastructure and edge devices - Analyzing and debugging complex network failures, leveraging automation, logs, and advanced diagnostic tools - Leading validation efforts for new projects and features, defining test coverage and automation strategy from early design stages - Designing and deploying complex physical and virtual network topologies to support automated end-to-end testing WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - A strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and routing protocols - Hands-on experience with Linux networking and troubleshooting - 3+ years of experience developing test automation in Python using OOP principles - Proven ability to debug complex, multi-component systems - Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment WHY REMOTE Cato Networks offers a flexible work environment that allows you to work from anywhere.
