ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Manager II, Engineering - Logs at Datadog, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of one of the company's largest and most strategic products, Logs. With a significant portion of the engineering organization under your ownership, you will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap and product vision for Logs in collaboration with Product, Design, and peer leadership. This is a high-scope role that requires someone who is energized by hard problems, eager to grow at the intersection of business and engineering excellence, and driven to build a product that transforms how engineering teams operate and resolve incidents.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Manager II, Engineering - Logs, you will be responsible for:
- Co-defining the Logs technical roadmap and product vision with Product, Design, and peer leadership
- Building strong partnerships with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure a highly reliable, scalable, and performant product
- Investing in the next generation of engineering leaders by growing your managers, expanding their impact, and building a high-performing engineering organization
- Fostering a culture of ambition and resilience where people lean into hard problems, iterate rapidly, and hold themselves to a high collective standard
- Building an inclusive environment focused on fostering top-tier talent and ensuring diverse perspectives are leveraged to build the best possible solution
- Managing the complexity of a large organization by anticipating risks, resolving friction, and keeping teams focused on what matters to customers

SALARY AND EQUITY
Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, with a reasonably estimated yearly salary range of $234,000 - $300,000 USD. Actual compensation is based on factors such as skills
