ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Backpack Healthcare. As a clinician-led, minority-owned organization, we are committed to providing high-quality virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults across Kentucky. This part-time role offers the flexibility of working from home and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide 15-22 telehealth sessions per week, delivering individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Kentucky. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments, developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans, and providing evidence-based individual and family therapy via secure telehealth. You will also collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team, including therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and care coordinators.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a licensed mental health therapist in the state of Kentucky, with a passion for working with youth and a commitment to work-life balance. You will also need to be comfortable working in a virtual environment and be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
