ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our team at Monzo, a leading digital bank that is revolutionizing the way people manage their finances. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our bank by developing and executing data-driven strategies that drive user engagement and customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading the data strategy and continuing to evolve Monzo's products and services to make it magically simple for customers to manage their money day-to-day. You will develop and execute best practices for experimentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and iterate on product ideas, and foster knowledge sharing and continuously improve data practices across the organization.
You will work closely with leaders in product, engineering, design, and research to drive data-informed decision making and unlock more value for our customers. You will also have the opportunity to mentor other data scientists and analytics engineers, and contribute to the development of new products and features.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in data science, with experience in developing and executing data-driven strategies. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive data-informed decision making. You will also be an excellent communicator with the ability to mentor and guide other data scientists and analytics engineers.
