ABOUT THE ROLE As the Internal Audit Data Analytics Lead at Stripe, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Internal Audit (IA) team. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we are building a world-class IA team to make this vision a reality. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing data-driven insights across the IA lifecycle, driving the use of AI to enhance audit efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to elevate the ambitions of Stripe. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Internal Audit Data Analytics Lead, your primary responsibilities will include: - Completing data analytics as part of audit engagements in collaboration with the IA team - Driving the use of AI across the audit team and leveraging it in audit engagements - Participating in audit walkthroughs and developing work programs for in-scope areas - Leading data analytics brainstorming sessions with the audit team to discuss best practices in audit planning and fieldwork - Assisting with substantive testing of audit findings during reporting - Documenting data analytics and audit tests in work papers WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 5-10 years of professional experience working in audit data analytics - Expertise with SQL, schema, and ETL design, as well as data pipeline development and maintenance - Familiarity with scripting/programming for data mining and modeling (R, Python) and ETL development (Python) - Experience with machine learning techniques - Experience with reporting and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau) - Exquisite attention to detail - A passion for building unreasonably good products and driving defining impact - Versatility and willingness to learn new technologies on the job - High tolerance for rapid change and ability to navigate ambiguity - Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and share succinctly - A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field - Experience working with basic git commands WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and be part of a global team that is shaping the future of the internet.
