Integration Engineer, SEA/GCN

ABOUT THE ROLE Stripe is building the financial infrastructure that powers the internet’s most ambitious businesses. As an Integration Engineer on the SEA/GCN team, you will be the technical bridge between Stripe’s platform and the largest enterprises in Greater China. Your work will shape how these organizations launch marketplaces, subscriptions, and cross‑border payments, driving revenue growth and ensuring a seamless customer experience. In this role you will collaborate with product, engineering, and sales leaders to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable integrations that accelerate time‑to‑market for our clients. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Serve as the primary technical advisor to senior engineering teams at client organizations, diagnosing and resolving complex integration challenges. - Partner with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Professional Services to design and deliver end‑to‑end integration solutions that meet business and technical objectives. - Lead architecture discussions, create detailed design documents, and oversee code implementation, ensuring high quality and maintainability. - Communicate Stripe’s API capabilities and best practices to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders through workshops, documentation, and community talks. - Provide actionable feedback to product and engineering teams, influencing roadmap decisions that benefit our largest users. - Develop and refine professional services methodologies, tools, and playbooks that streamline future engagements and reduce support overhead. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Eight or more years of experience in architecture, technical consulting, or system integration, with a proven record of delivering complex enterprise solutions. - Deep familiarity with API design, middleware, and data modeling, as well as hands‑on debugging of both Stripe and customer code. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to executives, developers, and partners alike. - Strong ownership mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. - Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with the capacity to travel quarterly for on‑site client engagements and internal meetings. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high‑impact projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction.
