Head of Engineering, Finance Systems

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a seasoned leader to join Klaviyo as the Head of Engineering, Finance Systems. As a key member of the Global Technology Solutions team, you will be responsible for architecting the Finance systems foundation for a rapidly scaling company. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Head of Engineering, Finance Systems, you will be accountable for the technology leadership of Klaviyo's Finance application landscape and core financial workflows. Your key responsibilities will include: - Defining and executing the multi-year vision for Klaviyo's Finance systems, aligned with the CFO's agenda and the company's financial plan - Leading a high-performing team responsible for Finance Technology Solutions across Klaviyo - Partnering with senior Finance and GTS leaders to deliver automation, control, and insight across procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and order-to-cash processes - Owning the design, implementation, and operation of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and other key controls across Finance applications - Managing the Finance systems portfolio budget, including vendor selection, contract evaluation, and ROI analysis for major investments WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - A strong background in Finance technology and systems, with experience leading large-scale technology initiatives - Proven leadership skills, with a track record of managing high-performing teams and driving business outcomes - Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and FP&A stakeholders - Strong technical skills, with expertise in ERP, procure-to-pay, revenue and billing, treasury, and close and reconciliation tooling WHY REMOTE Klaviyo is a remote-friendly company, and this role is open to candidates from around the world.
