Global Head of Specialist Solutions Architecture, Billing

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join Stripe as the Global Head of Specialist Solutions Architecture for Revenue. As a key member of our Specialist Solutions Architecture (Revenue Suite) team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our revenue management solutions across all markets. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Stripe's revenue growth and have a significant impact on the global economy. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading the global Specialist Solutions Architecture team, developing repeatable playbooks, and defining execution best practices for our billing and revenue recognition offerings. You will also be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and developing team members, as well as influencing the mindset of CXOs, developers, architects, and other technical decision-makers. Additionally, you will partner with Sales, Professional Services, Support, and Product Engineering to guide the customer journey from business and technical discovery to successful adoption, value realization, and expansion. You will also be expected to drive thought leadership through presentations at industry events, developing whitepapers and reference architectures focused on revenue management best practices, and fostering cross-regional collaboration and knowledge sharing across AMER, EMEA, and APAC. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 15 years of experience in a technical sales role, including 10+ years in a technical pre-sales leadership position, with a focus on billing, revenue recognition, or related financial solutions. You will also need to have a proven track record of building and scaling world-class solutions architecture teams, managing individual contributors, and developing high-performance organizations in SaaS or consumption-based businesses. You will need to have a deep understanding of subscription models, billing systems, and revenue recognition principles, as well as strong understanding of developing human-centric CX experiences, enterprise systems, and architecture, particularly in the context of revenue management. You will also need to have experience working across global markets, with deep familiarity with the business and cultural dynamics of AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
