Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an IT Enterprise Applications Engineer specializing in NetSuite & Claude Code to join our team at GitLab. As a key member of the Enterprise Applications G&A team, you will be responsible for the implementation and operational ownership of all Enterprise Applications across GitLab, including the deployment of code, customizations, and workflows. Your primary goal will be to automate, enforce, and make our core business processes efficient, such as Quote To Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an IT Enterprise Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business workflows using NetSuite SuiteCloud development tools, such as SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteScript. You will also build system integration tools, such as SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and NetSuite SOAP APIs, and operate as a system, field, and mapping expert for the RPA and iPaaS team. Additionally, you will maintain metadata, records, objects, roles, and fields to ensure proper data flows between systems. Your responsibilities will also include business partnerships, business operations, technical delivery, and project management. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a full understanding of the NetSuite stack and experience with all NetSuite modules. You should have working knowledge of SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, CSV imports, user provisioning, defining roles, analytics, and scheduling scripts. Additionally, you should have expertise in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Services, and Eclipse. You will also need to have a strong understanding of JSON, SQL, API, and GitLab Products, as well as knowledge of Claude tools and how they work with NetSuite, GitLab issues, other data sources, and VSCode. Strong data analytics, reporting, and database experience, as well as NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certifications, are also highly desirable.
