Full Stack Developer

ABOUT THE ROLE Typeform is a leading provider of interactive forms, surveys, and data collection experiences. We help businesses create more engaging ways to collect, manage, and understand data. As a Mid-level Full Stack Engineer with a stronger backend focus, you will play a crucial role in evolving the internal systems and infrastructure that support our product development ecosystem. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and internal tooling used across product development teams. Your tasks will include improving infrastructure powering component distribution, asset management, documentation, and release workflows. You will also support and evolve the engineering monorepo, helping improve scalability, maintainability, and developer experience. Additionally, you will collaborate with frontend engineers and designers to ensure shared patterns and tooling are implemented consistently across products. You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing, and deployment processes using tools like GitHub Actions. You will also help improve the reliability and performance of internal systems, including observability and monitoring workflows. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript in production environments. You should have a good understanding of backend development principles and experience building APIs or internal services. Familiarity with Node.js and modern web frameworks such as React or Next.js is also essential. You should have experience working with relational databases and understanding of database design fundamentals. You should also have a strong understanding of testing practices and software quality principles. Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and developer tooling is also required. Experience working with Git and collaborative engineering workflows is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with designers and engineers are also necessary.
